SEARCHING, REFLECTING AND CONTINUING TO ASK QUESTIONS
Executive search requires a customised approach, by definition. We therefore pride ourselves in setting high standards for every placement, in the interests of both clients and candidates. One characteristic of our approach is that we try to evaluate a particular job in its overall context. We research, reflect and keep on asking questions to gain a clear picture of the ideal candidate. This includes assessing the possible effects of an expanding organisation, a changing environment and any long-term needs.

Achieving the best possible match between candidates and our customers is the highest achievable aim for the consultants at Holtrop Ravesloot & Partners. We therefore devote as much attention to candidates' personality and character traits as we do to their knowledge, skills and experience. We also attach equal importance to their ability to engage in independent, creative thought and to be intuitive, in addition to their capacity to understand facts and exercise their reasoning powers. A focus on candidates is in fact at the heart of our approach. We monitor the careers of many of our candidates for several years and are regularly in touch with them. This puts us in a good position to identify what drives them and what challenges they are looking for. We are always open to meeting candidates and offering them advice, even if there is no immediate vacancy for them.
