IIC Partners, one of the world's largest retained executive search organizations, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jean-Marc Danton as the new global Leader of its Consumer & Retail Practice Group. The appointment is effective immediately.

Mr Jean-Marc Danton, Partner at IIC Partners' Paris-based member firm Progress, has more than 22 years' experience in retained executive search in the Consumer & Retail sector. He holds a Masters Degree in Political Science from the Paris Institut d'Etudes Politiques.

"The Consumer & Retail sector is on the cusp of entering a very exciting and new period. How to address an increasingly digitized world is one of the main issues. The 'e-utopias' of a decade ago are now realities and sometimes realities are even more astonishing," Mr Danton said, adding: "All the interactions with the consumer need to be reconsidered: how to build and to strengthen a brand, how to deal with a new type of multi-channel world (physical retail and e-retail), how to conquer new clients and to develop their loyalty...
