Rune Hope

Rune has 20 years’ experience in IT posts at Norwegian firms with an international presence. His background is in the finance, shipping and insurance sector where, among others, he worked as head of IT for RS Platou ASA and Skuld. Rune has a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Oslo, and has worked at all levels of IT, from technology development to development of strategies. He has managed many processes of change and major digitalization projects in strictly regulated sectors. Rune is a born entrepreneur, who has helped found two companies. His education, experience, grasp of technology and understanding of business mean that he is particularly well placed to advise on executive selection and senior positions in the technology and IT sector. In addition, he has a solid background in risk management, which comes in especially handy when he’s pursuing his passion for extreme sports.
