Serving as Senior Vice President at Salveson Stetson Group, Mike manages and conducts executive level searches for clients nationally and globally covering multiple functions and industry sectors. He focuses on the identification, assessment, selection and onboarding of top leadership talent that matches clients' precise needs and culture. In addition, Mike partners with client leadership teams, providing advisory services that enhance the development of winning high performance teams.
Mike brings with him more than 30 years of human resources executive leadership across a variety of industries including financials, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, consumer products and multimedia ecommerce retailing. His human resources leadership experience focused on partnering with executive teams to build high performance-winning cultures by strengthening all aspects of talent management (recruiting, assessment, selection, onboarding, development, and retention).
Most recently, Mike served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Henkel Corporation – Americas, a premier company with successful brands and technologies and a highly engaged and talented global team. Other companies where Mike gained invaluable experience include General Electric, MG Industries, Penn Mutual, Wyeth and QVC. He is a graduate of General Electric’s Human Resources Leadership Program.
Mike holds a law degree from the University of Dayton’s School of Law in Dayton, Ohio and a bachelor’s degree from Saint Bonaventure University in Olean, New York. He was the recipient of the Saint Bonaventure ‘Ideal Bonaventure Student’ graduation award. Mike is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). He is also a member of the bar in Pennsylvania and New York.
Mike has received several honors including HR Person of the Year Award in 2004 for the Philadelphia/Delaware Valley area. In addition, the organizations he has worked with have received ‘Best Places to Work’ awards (Penn Mutual – 2003, Henkel in Rocky Hill, Connecticut – 2010 and in Bridgewater, New Jersey – 2011).
