Tiara Muse has wide-ranging expertise in recognizing C-suite and senior healthcare leaders. She conducts research into healthcare organizations and their markets, providing guidance to our search and consulting teams on ways to help in the identification of strategic and operational executives on behalf of our clients. She brings diverse perspectives with her broad experience in for-profit, non-profit, and public sectors.
Prior to joining Furst Group, Tiara served as a core member of the Healthcare Services Practice at a leading global executive search firm. She previously served as a researcher at the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Institute for Health Research and Policy, where she worked on a number of national studies.
She also was a team member for the Office of Health Disparities at the American Cancer Society in Atlanta, where she assisted in developing strategic partnerships and building cultural competence. Tiara began her career at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, DC, working on national human capital and workforce development plans.
She is a member of the Chicago Midwest Chapter of the National Association of Healthcare Services Executives (NAHSE), the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), Chicago Health Executive Forum (CHEF), and the American Public Health Association (APHA). She serves as a mentor to youth and is a frequent speaker on career readiness and education.
Tiara holds a Master of Public Health degree in Health Policy and Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology/anthropology from Spelman College.
