He applies a business and neuroscience lens when identifying, attracting, assessing high-performance candidates. His key expertise is delivering candidates with a balance of sector credibility, commercial results and an ability to develop and translate government policy into high level and practical outcomes for an organisation's stakeholders. With more than 16 years in Executive Search, working with the nuances that exist at the nexus of public, private and social purpose sectors, Allan’s career has included time with a well-known Australian brand, four years as an equity partner establishing the national government, NFP and education practices for an APAC challenger Executive Search brand, seven years with a top-five global search firm in a senior leadership capacity and three years as a Partner and Head of Research in a boutique HR start-up. His formative years were spent in a business analysis and management role at Deutsche Bank AG, where he was responsible for operational performance across Australia and New Zealand. Allan is a member of the Global Golden Key Honours Society. His most recent qualification is a Masters of Management (Honours) from the University of Technology, Sydney. He is presently Deputy Chairman, Chair of the Governance and Performance Committee and a Non-Executive Director of Koorana Family and Child Services Limited; and a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Saddlers (UK).
