"Giampaolo is a Partner of Key2people and Practice Leader for Energy&Utilities and participates in the development of the Industrial Goods and Services & Infrastructure sectors on both Executive Search and Advisory issues, in Italy and abroad. In his career, Giampaolo has developed strong skills in managing complex projects for large clients, entrepreneurial companies and private equity funds, integrating the experience and perspectives of strategic consulting, managerial roles and head hunting, also with the aim of strengthening the contribution of human resources to the achievement of strategic business objectives. He has managed projects and processes of organisational change, restructuring, development and M&A, often associating business issues with those related to the development of new skills required by innovation and the introduction of digital transformation (e.g. Industry 4.0) After working for Rina-D'Appolonia as an engineering consultant in the Oil & Gas and Transport sectors, he obtained an MBA and in 1996 he shifted to strategic consulting. He held various roles until he became Partner in Value Partners, Booz Allen & Hamilton, Roland Berger and Cap Gemini, managing clients and projects in the Energy, Industry, Transport and Infrastructure sectors for clients across Europe. In 2005 he joined Trenitalia with a General Management role as Territorial Director for the North-East, managing the profit and loss account, resources and relations with the territory and institutions. In 2008 he joined ATM Milan as Director of Strategic Planning, also coordinating numerous projects related to innovation and digital technologies, as well as business development. From 2009 to 2015 he was also a member of the Policy Board and Chairman of the Transport Economics Committee of UITP, the International Association of Transportation Companies. He speaks fluent English and French. Graduated in Engineering, he holds an MBA from the MIP School of Management of the Politecnico di Milano"
