Risto Wahlroos has been a Partner of JFP Executive Search since 2011. After joining the executive search business he has executed more than 250 search assignments to top management positions especially for manufacturing, technology, energy and financial services industries. Further, Risto has performed several Board Searches and Board Audit processes for privately held and listed companies. Prior to joining JFP Executive Search, Risto has extensive experience from working in the Financial Services industry in leading business in P&L roles, executing change management programs, sales management, people management and recruitments. He has built and nurtured customer relationships with domestic and international large and midsize corporates in various industries. Risto is a member of the Financial Services Practice Group at the IIC Partners´ global network. He has also been a Board Member at the Finnish Executive Search Firms’ Association (FEX) since 2017 acting as a Vice Chairman. Risto holds a Master of Science degree in Lappeenranta University of Technology in Industrial Engineering and Management. In addition, he has completed several business management and consulting related courses both in Finland and abroad e.g. at INSEAD Singapore.
