Marie-Dominique Chapuis joined Progress Associés in January 2022 to support the Consumer & Retail Practice with a specific emphasis on developing the beauty, luxury and healthcare sectors. She brings her expertise to the firm’s Executive Search and advisory services. Previous experience Marie-Dominique has more than 25 years of experience in leadership roles in the consumer goods, pharmacy and luxury sectors. She began her career at Procter & Gamble (P&G), where, over the course of ten years, she held various marketing roles for OTC and beauty brands. She then joined L’Oréal as a member of the leadership team tasked with creating the L’Oréal Paris brand’s international structure. She served as Marketing Director for L’Oréal Paris International’s hair care products and then for the brand’s Latin America Zone beauty care business. She was then promoted to Vichy International Development Director, contributing to the international growth of the Active Cosmetics division, particularly in China and the United States. Finally, as Vichy General Manager for France, she managed the brand’s successful turnaround. Most recently as a General Manager of Estée Lauder’s Pharmacy Business Unit for France she orchestrated an in-depth strategic and organisational transformation based on omni-channel execution. This transformation resulted in the turnaround of the Darphin brand in France and in the launch of Clinique within the pharmacy channel. Marie-Dominique is a member of the board of directors of Xperts Council. Qualifications Marie-Dominique holds a Masters in International Business from ESCP Business School.
