Michaël Berglund AB is a locally owned and established business with an exceptional knowledge of the Swedish market and its dynamics. This ensures our autonomy and enables us to be flexible in meeting our clients’ needs. We strive for long-term relationships, where both parties invest in prosperous co-operation.

Executive Search is the cornerstone of our business, and we help our clients identify, evaluate and recruit the best-suited people to key senior positions, most often at board or executive level.  We believe that successful leaders create a better world.

Established in Stockholm in 1985, our client base consists of around 50 organizations - not 500. We focus on superior quality and strong relationships - not volume. Customer satisfaction is central, our goal is to contribute substantially to the success of our clients. Our clients - ranging from local companies and organizations to large multinational companies - have shown us continuous trust through recurring assignments.

How We Work

Our search process is characterized not only by creativity, engagement and working in a systematic manner – but also by hard work and perseverance. In order to succeed, we have to be persistent and effective in our search of the whole market for the most appropriate people.

By working in teams, we can spread our networks and create a platform where we are able to exchange ideas and find new perspectives on how to find the best possible candidate. The breadth and depth of the search allows us to identify a great number of candidates, which in turn allows us to be critical in our scrutiny of them. Careful evaluation of competence, ability and personality is imperative – our conviction is that thoroughness is important, even if the person is already well known to both our customer and us.
